[The first thing the video displays is...a white rabbit's back. One of the things has hopped right in the way, much to Flandre's displeasure. The little vampire chitters and scoops the rabbit up and away out of the screen with one clawed hand.]

...but it's so...little. Pip is bigger than it is.

[She tilts her head a bit at it offscreen.]

Who is that?

I dunno. Some sort of detective guy. Looks like everyone got some sort of toy. Yours is the first animal I've seen, though.

[Realization hits a bit more slowly.]

Is it like when the scientists give us things, then?

Probably. It...might be kinda like the objects that were appearing last month, too. [ he kind of remembers that he shouldn't remind Flandre of that entire incident, but it's not like those were the ones killing her friends. ]

[There's a little growl here.]

[...aaand the viewscreen is abruptly several feet away from where it was.]

[ OH DAMMIT SHOULDN'T HAVE TOLD HER THAT ] Hey, look, it'll be fine! It's probably just a dumb halloween prank.

[Still. Kinda bristling. The rabbit looks slightly alarmed with its ears pinned back, though, which makes Flandre stop.]

I hope it will.

[Flandre has picked up the rabbit now and is stroking it only a bit neurotically.]

...Man, you've got some pretty weird powers for a vampire. [ he's not right next to her so it's not like he'll get blown up or anything... ]

[A brief glower. Only a brief one! Really!

The rabbit's presence seems to have calmed her back down.]

Remi? Oh, must be a friend of yours, right? [ jesus those rabbits are like...bomb soothers... ]

Remi is my big sister. [She corrects, but whatever vitriol had been in her voice has mostly faded.]

Really? Well, I guess if she's your sister, the she must have powers at least a little like yours, right? It's probably a family thing.

She must be! She can see when it's dark, and has claws and is strong and has wings, though hers are like a bat's instead of like mine. [...the fatehax superpower is kinda hard to see.]
