Sunday morning. It was the day Ryo was waiting for. He did not have to think about pursuing his dream. Actually, he wanted to spend his days focusing only to his lyrics, but sometimes he needed free time, special day, just to relax and maybe get a lot of sleep.
First thing in the morning, Ryo skipped the bath though he already prepared it. He was a good cook so he wanted to make great breakfast first, full set of food, not just a quick dish like he always did. He hummed the song he made a long time ago, a lullaby for exactly. He made it for Kazuya because the younger was having a hard time to sleep on the street because of the hard pavement, chilling air, freezing body, and empty stomach. The lullaby calmed Kazuya’s mind, making him fantasizing to be in a place full of what he wanted. A world which was beautiful and embarrassing him with its warmth and joy. It was the first time Ryo noticed about his hidden skill. He was not a useless boy. Seeing Kazuya slept peacefully because of his song gave him a new bright of future which he believed it could make him success and happy.
He took a glance at his guitar, sitting in the corner of living room. He played it most of the time. Then, there was a thick book that almost looked like a century old book because how wrinkle and dirty it was. However, inside of it was Ryo’s treasure. He kept all his song lyrics there. Only Kazuya who was allowed to see it. The younger was not a romantic boy. He did not comment about love songs, but he was quite noisy if he found a song which told about life. He commented here and there, but Ryo just ignored him and continued writing anything into lyric. It was his freedom after all.
A sudden urge to make western food came as soon as Ryo opened a large white refrigerator. It was packed with a lot of ingredients to make many foods. It was as if the fridge was left behind immediately after it was filled with the new supply for living for a month or so. Ryo even had a thought that whoever bought those groceries did not have the willing to use it. He shrugged his shoulders and then processed to prepare all the ingredients first.
“What the? Only three days before all of these expired?” Ryo said in disbelief, checking the date of the meat, milk, cheese, let’s say practically everything.
Fortunately the fruits were still fresh so he thought to only drink juice to start the day. He was a little bit afraid to consume a most expired food. Who knows he would get poisoned, right? It might be karma because he was kinda neglecting Kazuya, choosing a random house like that, so here he was sighing over the ruined morning especially when there was someone who was suspiciously peeking, oh cross that, the other was gluing his face on the glass door of the kitchen from the outside.
Kazuya was so ugly, crying and looking at Ryo like a kicked puppy. Ryo pretended to not notice him and it make him wailing. Ryo sighed. He marched to the door, opening it and was taken a back as Kazuya jumped at him.
“Who is chasing you?” Ryo asked. His tired voice made Kazuya pout because it was sign that Ryo was not in the mood to know what mess that he created this time.
“Police,” Kazuya sobbed.
“Excuse me?” Ryo glared at the younger.
“I was crying on the street, then…then…those people brought me to the police, and I ran away,” Kazuya explained. He clung onto Ryo who was face palming as a response to Kazuya’s story.
“Then what are you doing here? Wanna get arrested together?” Ryo groaned in frustration because Kazuya was still all over him. He had to drag Kazuya with him to start making orange juice.
“I ran so fast. They lost me,” Kazuya informed proudly but he was still crying.
Ryo frowned. He placed an orange on top of Kazuya’s head. He observed Kazuya, silently trying to figure out what was out of ordinary from him. “You broke the rules,” Ryo stated.
Kazuya nodded, eyeing Ryo with spark of fear in his eyes. “Don’t kill me, please,” he said desperately, clutching onto Ryo’s silk pajamas tightly.
“Kazuya, go take a bath, now! Let me use this knife onto the oranges to vent my anger about you,” Ryo commanded and the smaller one ran out of the kitchen with light speed. For a minute Ryo witnessed how Kazuya ran around, panicking while searching for the bathroom. When he heard a door being opened and slammed shut, Ryo got back to do the forgotten task. The oranges on the table were on his mercy. He sliced, squeezed, and blended them with fury, as if he had the battle with the poor objects.
Seven minutes in anger finally Ryo could let out a deep breath and started to make toasts for both of them. Being angry to Kazuya was something he could not hold for a long time. Knowing how stubborn Kazuya, he decided to talk about the problem with Kazuya without scaring him. Moreover, he did not want to add something like that to ruin his day for more. It was already good that Kazuya was not followed to this place. He hated police and lived in dream house is a lot better than jail anyway.
In the bathroom, Kazuya washed his face. He dropped to the floor after that, kicking his feet like a child throwing tantrum because its parents refused to buy it a car toy. He knew that Ryo would not go easy to him if the older heard what rule he broke. He whined even more because the sting pain in his lower part of body aching so much. He refused to cry over losing his virginity. He was mad at himself actually because the memory of how he was enjoying the…er…what should he call it? Raping? No. Make love? NO!! Sex? Hm….maybe.
Kazuya ruffled his hair, making it tousled all over his head. He tried to erase the memory but it was like a film which was being played over and over in his mind, making him red on the face because of anger and embarrassment. He put off his clothes quickly and wanted to jump into the shower to wash away the smell of the man who was with him last night, forcing him to the bed, and he denied all the facts that it was him who was actually let himself being taken by the man.
The cold water sprayed from the shower onto his head then went down to his body. He was shivering as he screamed his heart out. He did not care Ryo could hear it. He just wanted to let out the feeling that he bottled inside because he was afraid the man from last night found out that the supposed to be a guy fuck turned to be an intruder.
“It hurts,” Kazuya rubbed his sore ass. Honestly, his whole body was aching. He wondered if it was normal to feel this way because of having sex. If it was true, he did not understand why people liked to do it.
He spent more than an hour in the bathroom because he jumped into the bath up filled with warm and white water, it was like bathing in milk. He almost fell asleep if only Ryo did not scream to remind him that they still had a lot to talk. He got out of the bath up, rummaging a closet to find a bathrobe which small enough for his body. He abruptly left the room to go to the kitchen where Ryo waited for him super patiently because the older knew that Kazuya spent forever in a place which had bath up.
“I am here,” Kazuya announced. He sat opposite Ryo who was crossing his legs and reading a newspaper like a business man or a rich people who did that first thing in the morning. He drank the orange juice as he was instructed to do so : Ryo pointed at the glass without a word.
“Then?” Ryo said after seemed like an eternity to Kazuya.
The smaller was so nervous so he could not taste the juice in his mouth. “I-I forgot the bag,” he confessed, eyes dropped to his laps, scared.
“Get it back,” Ryo said simply. He did not even spare Kazuya a glance.
“But he is still there!” Kazuya refused. “This wouldn’t happen if you didn’t give me wrong information!”
Ryo snapped his head straight to see Kazuya. “He was there?”
“YES HE IS!” Kazuya could not help to scream. “It’s your fault that I was trapped in that nightmare house with HIM!” He accused Ryo and for the first time he threw a glare to his best friend.
“He came back and you two spent a night in peace?” Ryo wondered. “Don’t make up such a ridiculous story. Just get back your bag so I won’t get mad further,” Ryo ordered.
Kazuya gaped. “You think I am lying?”
“Yes,” Ryo said without a doubt. “It’s odd, Kazuya. I believe you are in jail now instead of here if he really found you in his house last night. If you don’t lie to me then how can you explain what exactly happened so you are still in piece and take fresh air?”
Kazuya could not answer instantly. He was more scared to tell about what he did last night to save his ass. Ryo waited. Many scenarios flashed in his mind about what possibly happened to Kazuya. He got bad feeling upon seeing how fidgeted and frightened Kazuya was now.
“Tell me Kazuya,” Ryo persuaded patiently so Kazuya spilled the truth.
“I slept with him because I was pretending to be his prostitute for the night,” Kazuya said almost in whisper.
Ryo was surprised but it was evident just for a couple of seconds. “You fled in the morning?”
Kazuya nodded. His eyes avoided Ryo’s. He tried to hide his blushing face.
“Is it good?”
Kazuya titled his head, finally looking at Ryo questioningly. “What’s good?”
“The sex,” Ryo smirked and drank his juice.
“Good my ass,” Kazuya pouted. “It hurts!”
Ryo laughed. “You are lucky oh-not-virgin-anymore Kazuya,” he teased. “The first time is always hurt especially if you were the bottom.”
“RYO!!!!” Kazuya kicked Ryo’s foot under the table. He could not believe he got teased instead.
“What? You aren’t caught. You got laid. You are adult now. Congratulations,” Ryo petted Kazuya’s hair.
“Ryo, I seriously hate him and I don’t want to get back to his house,” Kazuya whined, trying his best to let go Ryo’s hand from his hair.
“Bad news Kazuya. You MUST go back there,” Ryo smiled sadistically.
“You are meanie!” Kazuya let out his tongue, annoyed.
“Well, that’s not new to me,” Ryo grinned. “Who knows you will get laid again tonight,” he winked to annoy the younger more.
“You know I hate you, right?” Kazuya drank his juice with eyes glaring at Ryo.
“Yeah, I love you too,” Ryo answered and laughed when Kazuya spurted his juice in surprised.
“Meanie!” Kazuya wiped his mouth and ran after Ryo who tried to get away from Kazuya’s kick.
They were running all over the house, laughing, screaming, and then stumbling on the expensive carpet, leading them to land there and knocking down a little shelf. A loud thud was heard after that. Something was broken. The two were frozen. They looked at their left. A picture frame was on the floor. Its glass was broken to pieces.
“Oh, great,” Ryo closed his eyes and massaged his forehead in dismay.
Kazuya was at loss of words.
“It’s a bad luck, Kazuya. We broke two rules in two days,” Ryo sighed in defeat.
They sat down on the carpet, looking at the mess in front of them.
“What should we do?” Kazuya nudged Ryo with his elbow.
“Buy a new frame that exactly same like that,” Ryo grimaced.
“We don’t have the money,” Kazuya said in fright.
“I have, but it will be difficult to find the frame.”
“I am sorry,” Kazuya blamed himself.
Ryo smiled. “Don’t worry. I’ll get it done while you get back your bag. Deal?”
Kazuya nodded obediently. “Okay,” He said half heartedly. He should do that otherwise they would be in big trouble.
The younger then went to the kitchen to get a broom to clean the floor. Ryo took the frame which was upside down. He looked at it closer. There was a picture of a married couple. The bride was so beautiful but Ryo’s eyes were locked to the broom who was so pretty. Ryo frowned. What on the earth he was lusting over a married man? Wait, lusting? Ryo bet today was the most weird and unlucky day ever. In that instant, he discovered why he was fine to know that Kazuya was with a man. He could not believe he was interested in guy! Well, let it be a secret because Ryo did not want the world to know especially Kazuya. He did not want to be laughed at and he was simply in denial.
“Why did you choose this house?” Kazuya asked as they cleaned.
“Randomly,” Ryo said honestly.
“You did the same to me, right?” Kazuya pouted.
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“I just give up.”
“About me?” Kazuya rounded his eyes.
“Listen, Kazuya. You said yourself that you are an adult, so you should act like one.”
“You hate me,” Kazuya concluded.
“Like I can,” Ryo patted Kazuya’s head. “I want you to find your future.”
“I don’t want to,” Kazuya replied fast.
“Kazuya…”
“I DON’T WANT TO!!” The smaller boy stood up and left Ryo. He hid in a room, obviously refusing to talk more about it.
Ryo shook his head. He walked to the door of the room Kazuya was in. “Be careful tonight. I will wait you here.” Ryo said as a reminder. “I won’t be home until I find the frame though, so just do your best.” Silent. “You know I love you, right?”
“I HATE YOU!!!!!” came a scream from Kazuya.
Ryo smiled. That was a code that how they love each other, as brothers and best friends. He was worried about Kazuya but he left the house an hour later, leaving Kazuya who sulk on the bed. The younger was mad but he could not escape from the tiredness. He yawned as he gathered pillows around him. He made himself as comfortable as he could. He just hoped the owner would not find him when he was deep in sleep. He needed a lot of rest because tonight he should get back to the house he did not want to step into again.
(.^_^.)
“I am tired of eating the same food in the hospital,” Jin complained.
“You should consider it before you took medical school,” Yamapi commented.
“Why are you here?”
“You look lonely.”
Jin ignored his friend to continue dig in his tasteless curry.
“You got laid but it isn’t enough. You want it again,” Yamapi said as he blew a cup of hot coffee to make it warm.
“What are you? A fortune teller?” Jin mocked. He was in foul mood now. He spent his afternoon in the OR, saving life like always. He did not know what time it was now. He did not eat anything since the morning so he ate this food whatever it tasted.
“I wish I can get laid too,” Yamapi said in a dreaming tone. It made Jin wonder and then looked at the direction Yamapi’s eyes landed to.
“I don’t know you like him,” Jin smirked, he felt a sudden amusement to know that Yamapi was gay.
“He’s breathtakingly beautiful,” Yamapi said in blissful.
“Go ask him out already,” Jin fell to bad mood again.
“He’s married to a hot chick,” Yamapi gave up just like that.
“What a surprise. Isn’t he too pretty to be the top?”
“Euw Jin, stop talking dirty when you are eating!”
“Like you don’t have dirty stuff inside your head right now.”
“Just shut up.”
“Like I care.”
Yamapi gulped his coffee and regretted it second later as it was hot and burnt his tongue. He shot Jin a glare and then came back to admire the gynecologist whose name was Ueda Tatsuya.
“I bet all the pregnant women here love him. He was pretty, girly, fit with pink uniform, and gentle. Who doesn’t want to be treated and checked by him?” Jin said just to add the admiration in his friend’s eyes.
“He’s perfect, right?” Yamapi asked for agreement. His eyes were sparkling.
“Are you sure you mean that?” Jin raised his eyebrows.
“Of course. How I hope he isn’t straight,” Yamapi sighed in disappointment.
“You need to get laid, dude,” Jin advised, smiling widely because it was his time to tease.
“Mind your business,” Yamapi glared and then groaned because he was called in sudden surgery.
“Good luck Yama-chan~” Jin said too sweet that caused Yamapi to stumble on his feet. Jin laughed hard but it died a moment later. He got up and ready to change and go home. Every day was the same. He had to admit that he was determined and professional to do his work but he could not get away from the feeling that he felt like trapped. He wanted a reason to get a grip of this kind of life. This was his choice and now he was in the dark, trying to find out whether he was satisfied or not with his work and life now.
Thinking about that was never ending. Jin was too tired to do it anyway. The hospital never let him rest. He worked extra hours. He wanted a holiday, but the humanity inside him prevented him to take a break from saving every life he could. Was it really a good choice? What if he would die because of it? For example he didn’t have the time to sleep, eat, or even have a free time for himself.
It was something that revolved around his head for how long he could not remember. It was like a nightmare. He wanted to get his life and it was sad he did not have any good memories to begin with. His life was suck and he knew that he lived for his parents instead of himself. He loved them to the point he thought maybe he actually hated them. They used him, he knew. They did not care about him, he knew. He chose to ignore it, he knew. However, the consequence was he did not know that he was lost.
What he did was just work and work. He was tired and he needed distraction. It was always be like that, moving in circle, nonstop. He was tired. That was why as soon as he came back home and found that the place was empty and cold, Jin was hit with loneliness. He strolled to his bedroom, feeling how bad he wanted to sleep, maybe for forever.
His plan was failed even before he did it because he found someone he did not expect to meet. Like the night before Kazuya was in his bedroom, startled upon seeing him. They both were stilled. Jin smiled a little while Kazuya was panic.
“What are you doing here?” Jin asked. He sat beside the younger who was a bit wary and nervous to be near him.
“I-I wait for you,” Kazuya stuttered. Ryo was right. It was a bad luck. He once again met Jin. Well, it was too bad already to get here without knowing when Jin would get home. He was in luck before because he had Jin’s spare key with him, in his shoe, so he could get into the house easily. His calculation of time was worst though. A surgeon was scary. Their time of work could not be calculated.
“Thanks,” Jin said and it was surprising Kazuya till the younger could only stare at him.
“I-I think I should leave,” Kazuya tried to run away, hands gripping his bag, surely not want to leave it here again.
Jin grabbed Kazuya’s hand so fast, making Kazuya lost balance and ending up on top of him. He made Kazuya straddle on his laps before slowly releasing Kazuya’s hands from the bag he held for his dear life.
“I don’t call for you,” Jin said, rubbing Kazuya’s cheek with his thumb. Kazuya gaped and scared to death if he could not lie right away to save his ass AGAIN. “I know you left with my spare key this morning. Are you here to give it back to me?” Kazuya nodded helplessly. “Why are you inside then?”
Even though Jin held Kazuya gently, used soft tone, and flashed calm expression, Kazuya knew this man would turn into rage if he told the truth. He felt bad to lie but what else he could do?
“I don’t know when you will get home, so I think I will sleep here while waiting for you,” Kazuya said so smoothly and he wondered why. He put his hands on Jin’s shoulders nervously because he felt so anxious. “Are you mad?” he asked with pure fear.
“Right now, no. On the contrary I am glad you are here,” Jin said and exhaustion reflected in his face. “I think I will break down if I don’t find you in my bedroom. It’s fate maybe and don’t be surprised if I don’t want to let you go.”
This was seriously weird scenario ever. Kazuya had never thought to be in this situation. Perhaps, it was better to get arrested than being in the most awkward position like this. Moreover, he noticed that the man beneath him was saying something too dark and it mysteriously stopped Kazuya to leave. Everything was going more weird and weird.
They did not even know each other name and here they were being so close Kazuya felt he was suffocated. Jin leant to him, pecking his lips as if to test the taste of it. Kazuya was shocked and backed away immediately but Jin pulled Kazuya close again, guiding his head gently and then their lips met. Kazuya still was not used to be kissed. He closed his eyes and tightened his hold when Jin moved them to the bed. He was trapped again in the arms of the man he hated. Kazuya wanted to flee but the way Jin looked at him as if he was the only one who could make him this calm and forget everything that stressed him, making Kazuya still and waiting.
“I won’t pay you for this,” Jin said, eyes were already heavy.
“I don’t mind,” Kazuya answered honestly for the first time ever since they had a conversation.
“Really?” Jin chuckled. “Thanks.” He stared at Kazuya to admire his beauty before planting a kiss on his forehead. “I hope I can see you again tomorrow,” he said as if he knew that Kazuya would be gone when he wake up in the morning. Kazuya formed an unsure smile.
Jin was fine with that. No matter what happen yesterday, now, or tomorrow, it did not matter to him. He just wanted to sleep and not alone. Kazuya was completely silent as Jin hugged him close. He rested his head on Jin’s chest and his hand circle around the older’s waist. The next thing he knew was a blanket covered them. He sighed in content as he felt so warm. Soon he was drifting to sleep. He could not resist how comfortable he was now. Jin’s fingers were caressing his hair, his steady heart beat was lulling him, and being wrapped like this made him feel safe though it was indeed crazy to feel that way to the person he feared.
Some minutes later, they sleep in each other embrace. Smiles were on their faces. Sadly, when the morning came, Jin found he was alone on the bed, no trace of the younger boy in house. He felt sad but he did not want to admit it. Like always he had to do his activities. No change in his life at all.
He looked at the calendar on the wall. Oh, great, it was his day off, and he did not have anything to do. Spending the day with doing nothing would make him go insane so he got up lazily, attempting to do the laundry. The bed sheet is the first because he did not change it for quite a long time. He pulled the sheet off of the bed. He stopped his task when he spotted strange color on his brown sheet. He was suspicious of it. He brought it to his nose to smell it. What the? It was blood. He was sure of that because he was a doctor. The question was whose blood it was?
His phone suddenly rang and he quickly answered it. “Hello?”
“Akanishi Jin-san?” someone spoke on the other line.
Jin recognized the number and voice. He used to call there. “What is it?” he was straight to the point.
“We want you to know that you haven’t paid for a call two days ago.”
“Oh, I see. Sorry, I forgot. I will pay it double then.”
“We will wait for it, sir. Thank you so much. We are glad that you were satisfied with our boy. Hope to get your call soon.”
“Wait,” Jin said.
“Yes sir? What can I do for you?”
“I want that boy again. An hour from now.”
“Okay. We expect to get the payment for this on time though.”
“No problem.”
The call was end. Jin was having an uncomfortable feeling. This was odd. Something was off but Jin did not know what. He went to the kitchen and stopped in surprise as he found the table was full of food. A note was left there.
‘Eat’
Just a word but Jin could get many messages that the boy wanted to transfer to him through it. The boy was worried about him. Maybe Jin was so helpless last night and it was ironic to get sympathy from his fuck guy. He put aside anything that intruded his mind as he started to eat everything that Kazuya cooked for him. It was so delicious. He really liked the boy. Kazuya was not only good in bed and cleaning, the younger was also a good cook. How Jin wanted to call the boy again and again because somehow his boring and stressful life got a little bright from Kazuya.
An hour passed so long for Jin. He was waiting impatiently. He wanted to see the boy. When the door bell rang, he was running to get it but almost fell as his foot got tangle with the bed sheet which he left on the floor. For a slight second he thought about the blood but when the bell rang again Jin did not care about it and went to greet Kazuya instead.
What he found outside his door was a shock. It was not the boy who slept with him last night. This boy was pretty but not as beautiful as Kazuya.
“Who are you?” Jin asked in annoyance and disappointment.
“Is Akanishi Jin at home?” the boy in front of him threw a question too.
“I am Akanishi Jin,” Jin answered angrily. “You aren’t him!”
The boy was angry too. “You also aren’t him!”
“What the?” Jin was flabbergasted.
“Akanishi Jin who called me two days ago was a young pretty guy,” the boy said.
“I was the one who called you,” Jin corrected.
“Well, the one who opened the door and talked to me weren’t you.”
“Then who?” Jin wondered.
“He’s so pretty, you know. Don’t tell me he pretended to be you to shoo me away. Are you his boyfriend?”
Jin was stunned. He processed the information for a minute before closing the door right in front of the boy who was screaming at him because of how rude he was blocking him away and shut him off like that. Jin did not give a damn to the boy outside his door. His mind was flying to the boy he met here for two days. He got back to his bedroom and took the sheet. It was Kazuya’s blood. The boy was bleeding because of the sex. The boy was virgin. The boy was inside his house with reason he did not know.
Anger was filling his every vein as Jin gripped the sheet so tightly. “Who are you?”
And in a house so far away from Jin’s house, it was the same question which the owner said when he saw Ryo in his house.
“Who are you?” Tatsuya asked.
To be continued…(.^_^.)
