(no subject)
So glad the week is over and the weekend is here. I was oh so close to getting Cardinal tickets from my boss yesterday. But, unfortunately there had to be a drawing and someone that doesn't even watch baseball won the tickets. Ass hat! LOL!!
So instead, Tony and I just relaxed last night. I got home from work and we decided to go to One Upon A Child and look around. We got one outfit and then went to go eat. The place we went to go eat at closed at 5:30. The website said they closed at 8 and the coupon said they closed at 5:30. Hmm, a little discrepancy there. So we left and drove to eat at Applegate's. It is another small deli that is delicious. Their sign too said that they had extended hours until 8 during the week for the summer. They were closing up as well. What the heck. We ate and then as we were leaving the guy asked us if we wanted the pulled chicken because otherwise they would just throw it away. Tony said sure, just give me enough for a sandwich. The guy gave us the rest. So now we both have lunch today. YUM!!
We came back home after going to the store to get dessert. Watched the Cards game on TV and then I fell asleep on the futon. I then trotted to bed.
My niece made it to Jr Olympics this year again. Not sure where they are going but they will be gone the same week we are out of town. So my dad will be watching two houses.
Today we have errands and then nothing else planned for this weekend. Kind of low key.
Little Tony is kicking the crap out of me right now. :).
We have our hospital tour next Wed. Which we are excited about and one of my friends from high school actually works there. Not sure if she works that night but I guess I will find out. I asked Tony last night if he is getting anything out of this class. He said he was, mostly the stages of birth. He thought that once you had a sign of a contraction that you needed to go to the hospital. So while there are some things that I already know he is learning and is making him more comfortable. Which was the whole goal anyway. We have two classes left and then a breast feeding class at the end of August.
