For those who are interested, the increase in medication really seems to be working. I'm just generally feeling happier, and the times when I do get sad or upset, I'm able to handle it a little better. Except for work. I seem to hate it more now than I did before, lol. Maybe it's because now I'm willing to believe that I'm better than a job like that? I don't know.
It also has gotten rid of some of my lethargy. While in general I'm most content to just hang out and watch a movie or read a book, I have been a little more active and a little more willing to be outside. Like, today I was watching 'Dead Like Me' and I thought "You know, I could go walk on the treadmill and still be able to watch this." So I did a mile on the treadmill. And the other day I took the bus to go get my hair done (pictures forthcoming, whenever my computer decides to stop being a bitch), and by the time it was finished I had missed the bus back. I could wait 20 minutes for the next one, but instead I decided to walk the mile and a half home, because it was all sunny and I had my mp3 player and nowhere to be. It was really, really nice.
So, all in all it appears to be a success. I still have some stuff to work out, but it's definitely progress.
Also, regarding Dead Like Me, Rube is awesome:
