AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! THIS IS SO COOL! SO! COOL!

John becomes Skynet, right? I mean, I'm reading the ending properly, right? That's fucking awesome!

And, you know, the rest of the fic is pretty cool, too ;) I like the way you interwove the Terminator canon with the Stargate stuff and made it all fit seamlessly.

(I haven't seen The Sarah Connor Chronicles yet, so I'm not sure I picked up on all the nuances there. It actually took me a minute to realize that the John at the beginning of the fic wasn't Sheppard.)

Here from mckay_sheppard, BTW.

Thank you! I'm happy you liked it. You're right about the end, John is supposed to turn into Skynet, or something like it.

excellent. I wasn't expecting John to become/be skynet. The twist that if Sarah and Cameron had trusted Rodney, Skynet might never have happened... Yet then would John have existed to go back in time. Timetravel stories; who needs logic.

This is going in my reread folder.

I know how you feel about timetravel stories. Movies like back to the future, and even the way time travel is done on stargate make it seem so simple, but ever since the beginning, terminator has given me a big headache trying to wrap my head around it. Thank you for reading.

There's really nothing more dangerous than a self-fulfilling prophecy. Or do I mean paradox? The self-fulfilling prophecies and paradoxes (and misunderstandings) here loop around and around one another, like the bastard child of an infinity symbol and a Möbius strip, like recurring themes in a symphony, like dancers performing a pas de deux....

wow

I'm not watching the series, but I still got enough out of this story to understand what's happening. This has to be one of the creepiest romance stories I've ever read, and it's gorgeous. ♥

Thank you! I'm happy that you liked the creep factor. I started out just wanting to write cyborg porn, but got this instead.
