Well, the soccer coach from Lycoming called me.. I wasn't too nervous like I expected. We talked for a while and he told me about the team and he asked about myself. He told me that two of his starting defenders just graduated and he needs two more, and that he is impressed by my information that I have given him and that he wants me to come visit. He sounded interested on the phone, but I still need to make the decision of whether or not I'm committed to playing soccer my freshman year. I am leaning towards yes because I think in the end it will be a better decision. The coach told me that by my academics that he's seen I'll receive scholarship, but he told me that we'll "talk about that when that time comes". So, overall I think it was a good conversation and I'm very interested to see what develops. We'll see what happens.

I really like this song.

Today was our last real class of calculus class.. Well with this professor at least. I enjoyed Harrison, I'm curious to see who the new teacher will be. I'm not too worried about the exam. School was average. There was normal debates from class to class.. Today's topics seemed to be "Is the death penalty just a vengeful act by society" and "President Bush didn't do anything courageous by going into the middle of a warzone where he could be killed at any second" Now, I have a stance on both, however I didn't argue because there is no point in arguing in this school because people are too stubborn to listen to your opinions anyways. Although, ven·geance n. -- Infliction of punishment in return for a wrong committed; retribution. Now.. Let's think. Someone does something wrong, so the judge (jury) chooses to put him to death... By definition of vengeance isn't it a vengeful act? I don't think it's much of an opinion but a fact. About the Bush thing.. people see that as being a politcal stunt and maybe it was, but flying on a plane (target for missles) and getting off the plane and spending thanksgiving with your troops who see anti-war protests every day of their lives about how what they're doing is wrong is a pretty good thing to do. No matter what side you're on. He did a good thing, and put his life in danger.. Pretty courageous if you ask me. Leave comments with your opinions.

Other than that, no excitement today. I went to the boys basketball game.. it was a good game. We didn't win but it wasn't a blowout or anything.. Plus Mikey didn't play. Then Vito, Mike, Brad, and I ventured to the O'Reilly girls game at Valley West. O'Reilly won and there wasn't too much excitement there.

Anyways. Tomorrow should be an interesting day. Spanish Fluency Exercises that I haven't touched. Maybe some more enjoyable debates. We'll see.
