Now here I go...... Hope I dont break down
Work is great, but I have been working like a bitch recenly. Both at the office and on the house. I spent this weekend screwing (not the good fun kind that everyone likes, but the screw/screwdriver/drill kind) Basicly didnt have a weekend, got up at 5am Monday and tuesday. Ive gotten home after 6 for two weeks now. Whew. I got all my apps out. Im applying to 16 schools. Thats a ton of fucking money. Also applied for FAFSA. Got lucky in the sense that since im applying for a Doctorate degree I dont have to include my parents assets/income on my application, good for me qualifiying for loans! woo! Arizona State, University of Arizona, Drake, Lewis and Clark, University of Missorui Kansas City, University of San Diego, Universty of Nevada Las Vegas, University of the Pacific, Loyola, Santa Clara, California Western, Seattle University, Franklin Pierce, University of New Mexico, Whitter and the University of Nebraska.
So that adds to my nervousness. I wont hear anything till Mid March at the earliest and Jufuckingly at the latest. All of my Irish friends need to use their Irish luck to help me get in!!! I need to get away again. Going to Tucson and Phoenix is always awesome but it makes me lonley when I come back to pinecone and all I have is work and booze to keep me company.
Also, on a sidenote and boring legal rant: There needs to be a stick to whack the state with. Why are there no consequences when the state breaks the law? They have no incentive to not violate civil rights. I guess the difference between a conservative and a liberal can be sumed up like this: Conservatives want to trust Prosecuters to use thier power responsibly, and Liberals want to trust Judges.
