Second Young Jewish Adult Forum, Rome - B'nai B'rith
Following the resounding success of the First Forum, B¹nai B¹rith Europe is
organising the 2nd Young Jewish Adult Forum for the 22-35 ages group which
will be held in Rome, Italy:
from Friday 31st October to Sunday 2nd November 2008
The venue is the lovely Torre Rossa Hotel located in a beautiful park near
Villa Pamphilli.
Our Forum will deal in workshops with many burning issues of great concern
to all of us:
* Communities in Crisis - How Can I help?
* In the media - How to deliver the right message?
* Family: Marriage, divorce, conversion, mixed-marriages, gay and lesbian
encounters.
* Israel-Diaspora Relations: The 60th Anniversary of the Jewish State.
* Network of B¹nai B¹rith lodges in Europe.
Distinguished speakers and personalities, among them Dr. Riccardo di Segni,
Chief Rabbi of Italy and Mr. Arno Klarsfeld, have been invited to attend.
Round Table talks and Workshops will enable the participants to engage in
discussions, share ideas and express their concerns.
The Forum will facilitate the encounter of young Jewish adults across
European borders and assist in the creation of professional and other
relationships. Exchanging ideas within the framework of a genial and
friendly social week-end and a Gala Buffet-Dinner with Disco will be part of
an exciting programme.
