To kick off that fandom explosion...SQUEEING. NEVERENDING SQUEEING.
LOOK AT BENEDICT'S HAIR. IT IS EPIC HAIR OF AWESOMENESS.
Clearly someone realized he looks best with dark, dramatic hair (though obviously I miss the curls).
Is that a little Starfleet sign on his shirt, too? Meaning he was a good guy who betrayed them somehow, turning into a baddie?
I guess the big question is whether or not he has pointy ears...
