The bad part about working from 7AM to 8PM everyday is that you are left with absolutely no time to do mundane domestic business. I need to go to the bank....and do laundry....grrrr...

On my roommate's recommendation, I headed up to the Griffith Park Observatory earlier today to check out their "Fly Across the Universe" planetarium show. Maybe he built it up too much for me but I wasn't that impressed. Of course, I haven't been to the planetarium since I was in 3rd grade but I definitely remember it being a lot cooler than it was. I wanted more "flying through the universe" and less simple CG animations of Copernicus doodling by candlelight.

I did get to see the LA skyline at sunset, which was gorgeous. And they had an exhibit downstairs where you could build your own asteroid (pick density, speed, and angle), aim it at Earth, and watch your handmade catastrophe. I created a 500 mile long crater in Asia. Good times.

At the cafe they had a chocolate cookie that was bigger than my head. I bought it and look forward to consuming it later.

Tomorrow is skating again! Can't wait!!
