How I'm Spending my Sunday Evening.....
....I'm watching a clip on YouTube of a kid doing a speedrun of Super Metroid in a little over 30 minutes. All skill. No emulators.
Should I be doing my shot list instead? Probably. But I'm also trying to alleviate some of the overwhelming guilt of forgetting my dad's birthday today. Although I had the date written on a post-it note by my computer, I didn't put it on my calendar. And so I forgot. Damn, do I feel like a horrible, horrible daughter.
My dad is off to Germany for a few weeks so I'm going to try to make up for it by sending him a nice little care package for when he gets back. Maybe some personalized mixed CDs. Something cool.
