Got an e-mail from my cousin that my grandaddy is OKAY. Apparantly, they removed enough of the blockage that the rest of it was able to break itself free so no second surgery was retired. It doesn't appear they are worried about it blocking up anything else either, but they are keeping him at least until Friday.
It's always nice to start off with good news. I like good news, especially the WHOOSH sound it makes when leaving to make room for the stress. :p
Anothony comes home today!!!! Yeah. The plan was leave Toronto, connect in Vancouver and land in Seattle. His mom would pick him up at the airport at 9pm and I'd meet them in North Bend. So...guess what isn't happening. Yeah, everything! His original flight was delayed, delayed and eventually cancelled. So, they were able to give him a direct flight to Seattle. Which means he won't be arriving at 9pm, he'll be arriving at 7:45. And it means his mom can't pick him up now either.
So, I call my friend (I'm borrowing her car to go) to change pick up times, calling my parents to change drop off times of the kids and changing my work schedule to leave early. Now, I will pick him up at the airport, and hope I am on time.
But guess who doesn't know any of this has changed? Yup. Anothony. He's gonna get off the plane looking for his mom still! *doh*
