For anyone of you who doesn't know, my Myspace profile is here:
http://www.myspace.com/tzeromyWhen I quit being lazy I will update it more, add some 1337 things to it and make it somewhat less of a bore to view. The blog there I decided to use as philosophical ramblings and Livejournal will be used as more of a log of my daily adventures.
Speaking of daily adventures, this past weekend was a lot of video gaming. I went up north to Portland for a couple Super Smash Brothers Melee tournements. The first one was at Game Crazy where the winner got a $300 gift certificate. I am used to playing high-ranking tournements and the people who went to that tournement were all n00bs and scrubs and I knew I would completely pwn them. Everyone who knows anything about SSBM knows that Pichu is the worst character in the game (there's a tier list system that places him at the very, very bottom), so I made that my main character, and even with his limitations I was completely smoking the competition. I'd do things like play with one hand, turn my controller upside down and turn around so I couldn't see the screen and I'd still beat them. It was so funny. I felt like I stole that gift certificate. Hahaha.
But, with that certificate I could get what I always wanted for christmas... as soon as they handed me the prize, I gave it back and said "I'll take one Xbox 360, core system, please." When they gave it to me I told everyone to come out to the parking lot where I would share my win with them. Everyone came outside where I removed the 360 from its box and went about destroying it. The look on their faces was priceless as I threw it on the ground, kicked it and hit it with a large rock. A few people even cheered me on and stomped on some of the pieces.
Best prize ever.
I couldn't get up to Bellevue, Washington because an ice storm came down shortly thereafter, so I got stuck back in Eugene. Maybe the socal trip will have to wait until better weather.
By the way, Leanne hugged me way too hard and hurt my neck. She's not allowed to hug me anymore until she pays for acupuncture and chiropractic treatments.
