Today, I saw Transformers 2. It wasn't bad actually, it even had more of a plot than the first one! Instead of being all BOOMY it was more like BOOMY+RANDOMSHINYTHING. It was amusing. How we got there was a first: on a motorcycle. I've been on motorcycles a lot throughout my life; my dad loves riding them. I never, however, have ridden a motorcycle on the highway. So, Mike picked me up and we drove to the iMax theatre nearby. The theatre was relatively empty, I was shocked. I came to the conclusion that I love the first song they play, Zoot Suit Riot. We left the theatre and went to Fuddruckers. For those of you who don't know what Fuddruckers is (you heathens), Fuddruckers is a place where you create your own burger. They give you the basic burger and bun, then there's a buffet of melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and everything that goes on a burger. It's amazingness in a bun, pun definetely intended.
Now comes the debate on whether Decepticons are evil or not. Mike got me thinking about this. If you think about it, all they're doing is trying to save their race. The Autobots are trying to save as well, yes, but the Decepticons have a different approach at it. Are they evil because they initiate the Survival of the Fittest? Or are they just being completely naturalistic and go with the survival of the fittest? What is evil? What is good? Transformers has a very black and white viewpoint in that sense.
I've decided that I'm going to learn the dance for J'en Ai Marre by Alizee.
www.youtube.com/watch is the video, and it's great. I won't be wearing the outfit obviously, I'd most likely be dancing to this in my cybergoth costume (yes, I'm planning everything out) Mom was teasing me earlier that I was checking out Alizee, and I was like "...I'm learning the lyrics..." which is something I'm also trying to learn but I don't have a French accent so that's pretty difficult. She was like "uh huh, why you staring at her then?" I was partially, "...I'm learning her dance..." and Mom was partially "Well, why don't you dance?" Yeah, uh huh. I'm definitely gonna dance in the middle of the living room to a song where there's dancing that a stripper would do with my mom around. My friends I don't care, they're seen me poledance in my underwear once so I hardly think this dance would be any worse.
