CHICAGO or the birthday party? The difficulties of money…
Despite today being a Thursday, it was fun to wait after school ‘til practice. The bank, Greenday, the mall, the shiny and weird stuff at Clares and the strange guy at the license plate stand. His shoes had HUGE platforms! Eve and I just started at each other after looking at them and thought of the book with Asian Fashion she brought today! It was crazy! Sigh I miss being social…
I also realized how much I miss going for nice, relaxed 4-mile runs with the distance team on the “easy” days. I always panic when we start but I’m much more relaxed afterwards and I just really miss getting that feeling from a run. With sprints its like “GO!” and by the time you realize what’s happening, it’s over. Oh but the danger and thrill of running track! We ran through Oracle at rush hour and in the meridian and through traffic again! The adrenaline rush was insane. And the fence jumping at the cemetery and Amphi proved to be harder than I remember them being. So much more Mandy’s leg bled and they had to stitch it and if it gets bad they’ll have to amputate. Kidding. She bled after getting caught on the fence but it seems like she’ll be fine.
Ha! And according to Steiner, we need to get a girlfriend or boyfriend so we can recruit them for track but most of us are single so yeah: Single Hispanic Male in need of White Girl (preferably rich and a fast runner) for immigration and recruiting purposes.
