After a bit of research, it turns out that i may not be gaining muscle mass as quickly as i could be. It's not at all that i wish to become a 'beefcake', however i would like to see some good results quickly to;
a) Spur myself on
b) Have some sort of obvious progress to monitor myself on
c) Become competitive quicker

I tend to lose interest before I get anywhere though...

Hmmmm... i don't have the authority to comment really, seeing as i don't know everyone on the scene. I would hesitate to call it 'depressingly empty of meaning or value', as i know enough diverse people on the scene to contradict just that.
Everyone has a story to tell, and that alone makes the scene quite a diverse place. It's just not always visible from the surface.

maybe it's just me... maybe I just dont go out enough to understand the appeal of the gay scene in Perth ... or the people in it... I guess I always prefer to be able to have a conversation with a boi and it's kinda hard to do that in a noisy club...

though I do enjoy the random dirty dancing with the cute bois...
