Yay, I'm updating.
Today I went to Cornell to meet and hear a speech from Dr. Elanore Jordan, the linguist that wrote my Japanese textbook. It was awesome, lol. She was quite good, and particularly funny despite being about 90 years old, lol. The speech was nice because it was actually aimed at students using the book, rather than other Profs. It certainly makes me glad I'm being taught by students of her, and using her textbooks. (Apparently some texts actually use 'Anata' and 'Watashi' for almost ten lessons, as English speakers use 'you' and 'I,' which is incredibly wrong).
We also went up to the bell tower to see the girl playing the bells, which was awesome, as well as going to the very top and looking over the campus, which is a very nice one. As well as awkwardly trying to talk as much as possible to Ishida-Sensee. "Kiree des nee."
Tonight was fun too, ate at the Cafe before being visited by the normal gang and Sarah. But, alas, I must do work soon.
