NYFW Day II: Nemo and I.
День второй представил перед нами непростую задачу, поскольку собрать удобный и в то же время веселый образ, который бы не промок бы под снегом и не перепачкался бы в грязи за первые 5 минут, было очень нелегко. Но я считаю нью-йоркцы и гости Недели справились с задачей на 5, учитывая, что до последней минуты мало кто верил, что буря Nemo действительно будет, и не планировали наряды на экстремальные условия. И, да, не поверите, в тот день в Линкольн Центре было несколько девушек и в сандалиях, но, как и погода, мода иногда может быть суровой.
Day II presented us with a weather challenge and picking out a comfortable, yet fun outfit that would not get covered in mud and snow within the first 5 minutes was not an easy task. But I think new Yorkers and guests of the Fashion Week did well and Nemo even made it more fun to dress up in the morning, because very few people believed that the storm was going to actually happen and therefore didn't plan in advance. And believe it or not, there were some girls in sandals at Lincoln Center that day, but like weather, fashion can sometimes be harsh.

And as we were leaving, this young man approached us and started snapping pictures of Elena, Marina and I hailing a cab in the snow, as we were trying to hold on to our umbrellas while trying not to lose balance. As we were leaving he slipped me his business card and in the morning I discovered these amazing images in my mail box. They remind me of movie snapshots. Needless to say, I could not have wished for better pistures to consign the mood of that evening, as Nemo was quickly taking over the streets of New York and everyone was running for cover. So thank you Andrew for this gift!
Когда мы уже убегали, к нам подошел молодой человек и начал снимать, как мы пытались поймать такси, удерживая зонтики и пытаясь не потерять баланс. В последний момент, когда мы уже были в такси, он дал мне свою визитную карточку и на утро у меня в почте уже были эти прекрасные фотографии, которые напоминают мне кадры из кино. Я даже не представляла себе лучшего конца этого дня, эти фото настолько точно передают настроение того вечера, когда Нэмо уже начал завоевывать город, и жители Большого Яблока бежали с улиц, в поисках укрытия от бури.
