DDR Machine Transformation
I've been thinking a bit recently about DDR and such. I have been doing notably worse and worse at DDR, and am having less and less fun with it. I think that the problem is the lack of community, and fun songs. The solution? Move back to Bakersfield, and get more fun songs to play.
So, after much thought, I have decided that I would like to gut my DDR Machine and turn it into a Stepmania machine. On this machine I would put every official DDR song from every version. I will retain ownership of this machine, and put it in a willing arcade or business.
I am currently figuring out exactly how to go about all this, but I am sure I will go through with it as soon as I am able. Now, heres where the holdups begin. I need a few things which I do not have:
1 Arcade or busniess to house/run the machine
1 PC with AGP slot ($???)
1 Arcade VGA Card ($89.00)
1 JPAC interface ($57.00)
1 Coin mech ($26.00)
1 Lock and Key set ($7.00)
The prices listed above are from Ultimarc, new. If you know of a cheaper/easier place to get them, information would be helpful.
And once I get all that together, BleachInjected and I will gut my machine and get it running as a Stepmania machine. Any available help would be appreciated, whether it be monetary (for parts), or by helping find a business to house the machine, tips and information on the process, or even just a wish for good luck.
