random stuff going on in my life
Well, despite all the preceding mayhem, George Carlin was halarious. I'm glad I saw him before he retires/dies. It's been a nice weekend. I'm starting to get a nice routine going, and I'm also feeling a bit healthier.
The superbowl falls on my birthday again this year.. god damnit.
If I was a real big football fan, this would probably be a great thing..
I guess that's cool, I probably won't do much anyways. I'm really getting into my independent studies on the East. I can't wait to visit China this summer.
I'm still debating whether or not London would work or not for fall next year.
Some of my music is becoming larger than me. I wish I had an orchestra at my disposal. I am happy to be full of inspiration and ideas again. Now I need an outlet.
I think I will start performing solo, acoustic-instrumental at coffee houses.. I'm not sure if it will be enough.
I need to network with some other string instrument folks. A cello, viola and contrabass would perfectly compliment a lot of what i've been writing lately..
