I really don't know why, but a subject I love is parking meters- they're fascinating!
I've been on a minor mission to collect as many "time limits" as I can. This is six hours. It's in lower Manhattan, actually just right beside the World Trade Center site. The passers-by seemed perplexed as to why I was shooting the parking meter and not the new tower, like everybody else... (Though I did some of that too, later.)
