Love? What is love? How do you recognize love? When do you know you are “in love?” Is it when you first lay eyes one someone, is it your first conversation? Well is it? Or is it in the kiss or in your first kiss, while you hold hands walking down the street? Is it your six hour conversation with the person even though you aren’t going out any more? Is it as you lie next to them asleep? Is it there when you are holding each other tight in the disaster that is seeping through your environment? Is it there in your brief instance of ecstasy? Is it there as your child is born? As your friends and family pass on? Can you tell? Do you know? Is it precious? Does it even matter? I leave that for you to decide, but tell me is love so trivial that it can be thrown out there at a whim?
