The week in review
I'm trying out a beard for the 2nd time ever. Not sure if it is better/worse/just different than how I looked without, but I'll let it fill out and take feedback.
Got a Zoo Membership for Tavin Alaric the Visiscott, King of the Ouch Reports, and Saviour of Nabisco (Visigoth + Scott = Visiscott). Have a few passes for the Phoenix Zoo, anyone want to come visit?
School is still bleh. OB was ok, Peds is just boring. We can't do anything at Phoenix Children's so I'm just a tourist in a hospital again. The dialysis nurse was very useful and helpful and he gets props for actually teaching me some relevant things about patients with renal failure. Rule #1 don't call the doc if BUN, H&H, creatinine or Fe are funky, they're going to be so wait until he makes rounds to discuss care.
ms-sparky got a job so that has relieved some stress, just in time so I could make new forms of it.
The remote control for the cable got lost so I got a http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remotes/universal_remotes/devices/377&cl=us,en
I am amazed what a quality of life improvement such a device is. Which is odd since you'd think the devices it can control would be one in of themselves.... "The one remote to control them all."
