England Vacation!
So, for Christmas (literally), I went to visit Darkclaw.
Yay first picture of vacation! Taken at the Spirit of Endeavour restaurant, where I promptly left my camera after the meal. *headdesks* (Obviously, I got it back)

In Lincoln, halfway up the hill to the cathedral. It was *very* foggy, and that hill was incredibly steep, hence the photo break halfway up. >.>

Impressive cathedral is impressive. Also, it's FOGGY.

The windows were all gorgeous, but it was dark, so pics didn't come out well.
Due to the holiday, the castle across the street was closed, but we took a (foggy) picture, anyway.

Trying to light a defunct cannon in heavy fog just doesn't work.
Did I mention it was foggy? That's *attempting* a flash, and a good reason most of the pics are dark. I have a OLD clunker of a digital camera. >.>

A guy at the next table saw us taking pics of each other and offered to take apic of both of us. So, yay! <3 <3 <3 !!!

Meeting up with cass_rising and garrwolfdog in London. It was a LOT of fun hanging out with these guys, and they were VERY patient with an increasingly cold-afflicted Gryphoness.
And THEY had to take a picture of US! <3 !!
I could NOT pass up this hilariously phallic sign for a sausage shop. "Our Wurst is the Best" was the slogan. It was... well... it was.

And now, many pics (mostly blurry) of the World's Largest Bicycle Wheel London Eye.
They were testing the lights on it for the next night's celebration, so it was constantly changing. Neato.

We were TRYING to create our own light with a flashlight. It didn't *quite* work, but was fun.

Getting off the train stop, you walk outside and look up... and up... and up... at BIG FREAKIN' BEN.

Prime Minister's street. Armed guards at the gate, too.
Couldn't find a Beefeater, but this poor fellow had to endure the flash of many cameras as person after person took pictures with him. They're the "Household Cavalry" or something.
CASTLE! London Castle. Tower of London is there somewhere, but was closed, so I have no idea which one/
Castle of London again.
And London Tower Bridge...though it should be London Bridge. ;-) Pretty with the lights for New Year's Eve, too.
Last stop of the night; we HAD to stop at King's Cross station. I'm trying to go to Hogwarts.
Hmmm....
