Cleveland...

I told you I would update this blog after the Cleveland regional was over...

Well, momma and I went to cleveland to see Eddie Izzard - the show was awesome...we were then going to play the 2-session pairs game saturday and drive home late to be back for Megan's hockey game early this morning...

we modified that plan to be one session of bridge so that we're home before bedtime and can get to the hockey game easily enough.  while we were eating breakfast, momma decided that perhaps there was something fun we could do in Cleveland other than playing bridge - and since we had a few hours before the bridge game began, we looked around a bit.  we found:  http://www.glsc.org

It was totally awesome!  we went to this phenomenal exhibit there about Albert Einstein.  WOW.  It was a great time...it took a couple of hours to get through Einstein, and we had about an hour before we had to leave for game time...

So we started in on the other parts of the museum - it was like the greatest science classroom in the world....we spent about THREE hours doing all of the activities available in the museum - unbelievable...it was great!

So we missed bridge entirely...and who cares...we had a blast.

talk to ya later, troops.  I dont have another bridge entry worthwhile until the Worldwide Pairs contest on friday.  I am playing with DS in that game - we've been in the top 100 in the world before...and we've been stuck in the pits of hell before - both in this event...I am hoping for the former this time around...

Ciao
