the emancipatory potential of that yoghurt advert where all those chicks say 'yes!' a lot. in particular the one at the supermarket where 'yes!' is announced, and a woman responds 'yes!'. a yes to life, but then, modernism seems so lame right now. i cringed at joyce. i think i'm an alcoholic, i mean everybody knew that anyway right? the other thing is that i'm an emotional cripple. what joy!
