Today was the worst day in recent memory. Two crushing disappointments, which left me stunned and basically, well, feeling dead inside. But, on the bright side, there's no way my life can get any worse.

I was going to go to All Tomorrow's Parties, but I find out this morning that I'm not.

That's too bad about Oxford. But if you're into phil of science, LSE sounds like the place to be anyway. And I really have to agree about that icon.

Oxford has Cohen, and I really wanted to be a groovy Marxist guy (the LSE is all about Hayek nowadays). Oh well. I've reapplied for an MPhil there (LSE) to see what happens (as if I don't get it I still have the old course).
