Roos and Shenanigans
I'm still horrible when it comes to journals. Just easier when I know who and when I'm talking to someone.
Anyawys, Flinters, Axel, and I went out to see the kangaroos up at Christmas Trees and Roos in Arlington. Had a wonderful time just letting out our inner roos to scruffle and feed the various marsupials around, along with lemurs, mules, peacocks, llamas, ostriches, emus, and more. Most interestingly enough was that when I got to hold Heidi, a 6 month old Bennett's Wallaby, she innocently stretched out her hindpaws and kicked me right in the teeth. Didn't hurt or anything, but it was just one of the cutest things I've ever seen. She then proceeded to lick my hands and hold onto my fingers with those tiny little handpaws of hers, definitely enjoying the salty taste and attention from so many visitors. I really want to have a pet wallaby now, more than ever before. They're just pure adorable. Must get a career and a house to keep one or two in. <3
