For the love of all things rational, go out and vote today! X the whole card if you don't want to vote for anyone because you're disatisfied with the whole lot, but please, PLEASE go vote. Don't forget there's also the referadum on the electoral system.
The decline in voter turn out is generational, deplorable and the reason politicians from all parties can continue to largely cater to the older folks. I, personally, have little patience for those who spend so much time muterring under their breathes about how awful of a system we're in, how they'd change everything if they were given a chance, and then don't go out and vote. This isn't about promoting one party over another (and I'll be very cross if anyone does that in the comments), this is about increasing involvement in our democratic system. Now go out there and make yourself counted. Remember, do not initial the ballot (or identify yourself in any other way), only select one person and you'll need either 1 piece of ID type A or 2 pieces of ID (1 type B and 1 type C). The combination or single piece of ID must include your name printed, your name signed and your address.
