I also like how ANN can do great news without letting the forum trolls pollute their work. However; if San-COCK Complex is capable of doing damage; it's already done it. The "Blower Of $#17, Out Of Proportion" had painted Japan's aging government officials into "aging party poopers."
Because, you know... If you're not some no-life otaku and you find out what type of bull$#17 the late-nite animu industry makes, you'd want Japan's government to do something about it, too. But what's needed is not just government kicking otaku's ass. The otaku-tachi need a realistic reason to go out into the world and to stop being NEETs. Japan has high unemployment, suicide, and pessimism. Remember?
