Grow up, or get out...
I have often said that it is easy to hate. This is true. But it is rather difficult to hate honestly. It's so easy to hate because one can simply come up with different, more or less unrelated and unapplicable, reasons to hate the object of their ire. Rarely do they take the time and consideration to consider the real reason behind their perturbedness. Now, as I'm certain you're all aware, I have a great many people who hold a great deal of rage and, you guessed it, hatred toward me. I don't begrudge anyone their right to hate me... never have. But I do have a problem with people hating me for the wrong reasons. What was it Kain said? "Hate me, Raziel... But do it honestly." And so, I submit for the approval of all those who would seek to do me wrong, a list of reasons why you can hate me honestly.
REASONS WHY YOU CAN HATE ME: ((TO BE EDITED AT A LATER DATE))
1- I lie.
2- I am a hypocrit.
3- I hate without reason. ((Refer to reason #2 for the comment to this))
4- I rarely clip my toenails.
5- I am moody.
6- I have a jealous streak a mile long.
7- I am a control freak.
8- I lie.
9- I fish for compliments.
10- I get angry easily.
11- I'm picky.
12- I demand a great deal of my friends.
13- I am fickle.
14- I lie.
15- I'm confrontational.
16- I love to argue.
17- I'm never wrong.
18- I'm happy.
19- I lie.
20- I'm arrogant.
21- I'm self-absorbed.
22- I act wiser than I really am.
23- I don't disseminate all the wisdom I actually have.
24- I hold myself to a different moral standard than everyone else.
25- I love secrets.
26- I lie.
27- I don't trust easily.
28- I'm generally untrustworthy.
29- I choose to follow rational thought more often than feeling... these days.
30- Even when I'm wrong, I refuse to be wrong.
31- I lie.
32- I have no honor.
33- I have no traditional sense of right and wrong.
34- I always do what is in my best interests before anyone else's.
35- I want whatever you have, except when I don't.
36- I demand the truth, even when I don't offer it.
37- I'm something of a hermit. I don't like going places when I can just as easily stay at home.
38- I'm obssessive about a great many things.
39- I refuse to accept weakness in myself, or in those I associate with.
40- I lie.
So there it is. A series of blanket reasons to hate me, that should effectively cover the gamut of my flaws and faults. Add to the list as you will, though let's keep the redundancy out of it. Short of, of course, me lying. After all, I do that a lot.
So, before casting sling and arrow against me again, my lovely little ducklings, do your homework. *smiles widely*
