They've found another planet!

And not just any planet, or one of those rubbish "hot Jupiters". No, this is an Earth-like planet. It orbits quite close to its parent star, but since said parent is a red dwarf (no, not a BBC show), it balances out quite nicely. They figure surface temperatures range from freezing to about 100F.

In other words, it has better weather than Earth does.

The next step is try and figure out what kind of atmosphere it has. Personally, I find this very exciting. It may be 20 light years away, but it's the most Earth-like planet ever found. This is big astronomy news and amazing.
