[Shortly after talking with Darc and the others on the site, Sol shut the laptop off. He would save his further religious arguments for later anyway. He was still slightly skeptical about the whole worldhopping thing, but if there was a multiverse, there obviously had to be some way for people to travel between worlds.

((I am so sorry I got to this so late! D: I should be online later this evening, so perhaps we could further discuss how the fight's going to work then?))

On one side of a large, nearby tree, a portal appeared that looked as if it was made of liquid. From it stepped Darc, looking determined but excited; he hadn't had a good fight for far too long.

He looked around and eventually spotted his opponent. "You're Sol Badguy, right?"

Sol glanced over, tensing for but a moment before Darc stepped through, a small smirk on his face as his opponent arrived. ...well then, guess I'm really going to ahve an actual fight on my hands. This should be fun. He smirked, tapping Fuuenken against his shoulder.

"Yeah, that'd be me. Take it you're the kid that's interested in sparring me?"

(S'fine, I've had things going on with school lately anyway. :D)

"You won't be calling me a kid for long," Darc responded, a smirk still in place. Seeing that Sol had his weapon drawn, the Deimos king did the same. He twirled it in hand once before moving into a fighting stance.

"Let's leave the chit-chat for after. I'm ready when you are!"

"Really? Come on, then!" He tapped Fuuenken twice more before tossing it into the air, rushing forward and catching it in one hand before coming crashing down on Darc with a vertical slash.

Sliding to one side and jumping away as quickly as he could, Darc managed to avoid being sliced in two. He made a mental note that his opponent was indeed pretty fast, but things weren't over yet.

To counter the first attack, he used the momentum from his landing to spring forward. Darc swung his sword in an upwards diagonal strike.

((Should we figure out beforehand who's going to win, or just wing it?))

Sol's eyes darted to where Darc had landed, bringing up Fuuenken broadside quickly to block. He was still only using one hand to fight, he didn't see th need to switch it up just yet. Not until he knew what this guy was capbable of.

"Not bad!" He grinned as they clashed swords again, impressed. This guy wasn't half-bad. Maybe it was a good thing he had decided to do this in the first place.

(I don't know how strong Darc is canonically, but Sol's, like...probably one of the strongest guys on his world, even with the limter. :x But he holds back when he fights most of the time because he knows that.)

"You're not so bad either," Darc grunted amidst the clang of swords striking. Ducking low under one slash, he used his position to stab upward.

The fight had only just begun, but to actually be in the midst of such a heated battle for once in so long - it was absolutely exhilarating. All the excitement was clear in his expression.

((It's kinda hard to say for sure how powerful Darc is exactly. From what I've read, Sol would probably win, though Darc would be able to hold his own. He did become king of the Deimos by proving himself to be the strongest after all. :3 There's only one cinematic where you see him actually fighting and not just being moved around in a playable battle encounter. So yeah, sorry about the TL;DR-ish stuff there, but Darc can hold out for a while but would probably lose the match. I'm just trying to figure out how to have Darc actually take some damage without being slashed into ribbons. XD (He can heal afterward, but there's only so much a spell can do.) Are we allowing special techniques?))
