Whoo presents!
Yes! Presents~ :D
Went into town to meet up with A, and she got me really shiny things! A kimono (black with an orange band with phoenixes around the bottom), and a ring shaped like a feather, and Garth Nix's latest! :D (It's A Confusion of Princes, dystopic sci-fi, I read four chapters on the train back home and I already have Thoughts, though I should probably just finish it and do a book review of sorts?)
And then we were in town, and I may have. Um. Bought another 3DS ¬¬;;;; In my defence it was the super-shiny LoZ one that was out for Christmas, and it was second-hand so a little cheaper. Also: SHIIIINY. And A leant me the OoT remake to play on it! |D
AND THEN! I came home, and then Sibling came home, and I got the new Silversun Pickups album! It only came out today, which is why my bday present is late. :D (I also got Carnivas, eeee Sibling~ Have been meaning to pick it up for AGES.) It's pretty awesome! No stand-out favourites yet, but I'm only on my fourth playthrough, and I've been distracted. So we'll see. :3 But even if there's no new The Royal We or Panic Switch or Future Foe Scenarios or Checkered Floor it's definitely a solid album; I think I'll listen to it a lot. :3
3D translation: FINAL WORLD B is done, but I don't want to post it without a final check, because of all the plot bullshit and brain-ow bits in it; will do that in the morning when I'm more coherent.
