...as much as I hate the CoM battle system there ARE reasons why I play it.

Did DI today, which is, in fact, always fantastic, when it's Riku-side. Darkside battle wasn't QUITE as boring as Sora's, but more to the point: Zexion! Being an utter bastard! He talks really really fast to Riku, too, which is interesting. And also YOU GET TO FIGHT HIM this is new and fantastic! :D:D:D I would have really enjoyed the fight if it wasn't, you know, CoM battle system. As it was it was still pretty good! SO! :D:D:D (Also was that Kairi, talking to Riku, or Naminé?)
...and then post-battle and fucking hell, Axel, you're. Such a complete bastard but. But. ♥ And Replica still needs hugs forever and is fantastic, as usual! And... well. I think Axel might actually be the first person to actually think about what the Replica wants. Sure, he's using it for his own ends, but that doesn't stop it from being something kind of vaguely resembling a positive relationship from the Replica's side of things. I mean, not really, but compared to everyone else. And Zexion's death was actually kind of moving, too. In that horror sort of way. AND FUCKING HELL AXEL YOU - gah. Bastard bastard bastard, but ♥. You do it so well~~
AND THEN THERE WAS MICKEY! STILL THE CUTEST. THE CUTEST. I really think he might beat Ven. And the way he got into the Castle was kind of interesting. I wonder how that happened. Both Aqua and Ven know and trust him, so that might have something to do with it. (Also how did Riku get in? Obviously the Castle is connected to the dark somehow, but, uh. It can't be easy to find or anything, otherwise Aqua would've made use of that years ago.

Ahahahahahahaha that would be FANTASTIC. :D (There are SO MANY possibilities for fantastic Aqua Kicks Ass AUs, I really have to write one. I still think the 'Aqua kicks Mickey and Riku out of the Dark Realm and the three of them close Kingdom Hearts from the light side together' would be the best, though. I mean. *___*)
Also there needs to be more Mickey and Riku BFFs fic. I am just saying! I don't even like Riku much and I'd read the hell out of that!
Also I think I finished the bulk of a chapter of the thesis today! \o/ Broke 4K and ran, really - it was a fucking shocker of the day. One of those ones where I Don't Have A Breakdown, if you know what I mean. But I managed to calm the fuck down somehow, and go poke it again, so yay! Definitely needs like. A conclusion, and probably more discussion, but I really don't know what to say. =/ So there's something, anyway, but I don't know what. Will likely get Mama to print it out at work tomorrow so I can scrawl all over it. (I'm getting the feeling that putting tables and graphs in is going to be the special hell. After trying to make them not leave giant amounts of space and basically fucking things so bad I had to go back to the saved version I pretty much decided that I'm going to finish the chapter entirely then worry about it. Because fffff. (Tips appreciated~~ Using Open Office.)

And yeah, I know, as the Rare that is my favourite they're dead and gone - but I still remember how much I looked forward to their new games, the grin-inducing thrill when that logo came up on screen. Sure, I get that a bit with Nintendo still - never have with Square Enix, actually - but never to quite the same extent.
I blame the seriously excessive amounts of watching DKC2 in my childhood. (No, not even playing. I suck at DKC, like I suck at all other platformers ever. But watching? SO MANY HOURS a;lgjskjg
Also Banjo-Kazooie was just so completely fantastic. <3
Unrelatedly, I'm going to start tagging things differently from now on. Not everything, but the KH and fic stuff, at least. Will have to go back and change things, but I figure if I at least start now it won't be as painful when I start going through the history. (It will still be painful. Why do you think I haven't done it yet.)

Does anyone know if you can change the thing that makes multilevel tags multilevel to a different symbol? It's a bit inconvenient being : since : is part of two of the game names, aha. ^^;;
