So basically I spent all last night reading badfic and writing in the White Mage AU, while ignoring my homework. Today has been better, but I still haven't picked up Aqua's game yet. Need a bit of a break, after that!
IN OTHER NEWS. Am thinking of possibly signing up for
hardmode. Not sure what I'd write about, but it's only 10K in three months, I can do that. Kind of want to do the thing with Link and Ayril, but I'm not convinced I can finish that up in three months. That thing has the makings of a monster. Also I'm not sure I could bear the angst.
Also, feel like a total AU is kind of a cop-out! (Also: embarrassing. This is the sort of high-level challenge people like
cypher pick up, and while I know that makes me hopelessly outclassed it doesn't mean I want to make myself look like a brainless moron on purpose.
So, I dunno. Had a BBS-influenced summary pop into my head (Lea looks up at the stars and wonders where his friend's gone - Axel looks across the darkness, and tries to make himself believe he's okay.). Not sure if I could get 10K out of that alone, but maybe if I worked in 358/2?
On the other hand, ALSO FILLED WITH ANGST. FUCK YOU NOMURA I want a happy ending NO KHII DOESN'T COUNT I mean even that has the high, high possibility for Sora to have a complete mental breakdown, and that's not even going into the possibilities for PTSD!
