something of importance
i'm not one to post on my LJ much, but this is important, and if it means more people will read it, i'll put it up.
with the G8 thing at hand and the live 8 concerts and everything, it's got me thinking that maybe individuals should do more and not leave it all up to politicians. if you really want to read my rantings you can, but more importantly, go get involved in something like this and make a real difference. if you can save money by buying fewer CDs or skipping a trip to someplace warm for spring break, and then use that money to enable real people's lives and to fight global poverty and disease, you've made the world a better place.
