dishcloth pattern?

i have no idea what eithe one of these will look like. im making a dishcloth out of the second one right now. i will post a picture as soon as im done.

UGH! must frog after 3 rows. the needles are too big to get the stitch definition i want.

After getting smaller needles, and still using the first "pattern" I can start to see what this cloth will look like. One side looks like stockinette, and the other is the back of it. Only there are gaps between the bumps. I'm thinking that the other one will have rows of stockinette, then rows of reverse stockinette. I'm really bad at thinking in that way.

I'm starting to think maybe i should alternate the kpk with pkp. it might make it look the same on both sides
