you should start a knitting blog!

yellow blue and white sounds like a nice combination. it reminds me of laura's bathroom.

i have a knitting folder in my bookmarks with 14 links. we are nerdy girls.

where do you buy your yarn?

i got that yarn at zellers. i buy some stuff there, but it's often more expensive than michaels. i might get one of those zellers cards to earn points... that might make it worth it. (i can also get a credit card form them... idk if you can use it elsewhere though)
i also go to michaels, and theres 2 local stores i go to. one right near my house, and one at the corner of rivard and tecumseh (its that bright blue building)
and when i go on vacation, i always check out the local craft stores and yarn shops.
oh, and people give me yarn

wow, you'd think michael's would be more expensive than zellers. since i've started knitting again this year, i've bought my two balls from zellers and got the rest from other people. laura bought me four sweet multicoloured balls in different shades of the nicest springiest yarn ever. i'm using one now to make those slippers and it was amazing to knit and it's nice feeling too. i've never been to michaels, so maybe i should check it out. i really want to go to that rivard store too. it seems neat. is it expensive or cheap? it seems like it could go either way, it being a specialty store and all ( ... )

the prices vary from yarn to yarn... im also going to start looking into ordering wholesale online.. like get HUGE boxes of yarn...
the store on rivard is fancy... it's a ton of specialty yarns... they have really good sales. i go there to buy needles and a couple other things. i've only bought a couple balls of yarn there.
if i get the zellers card, i can at LEAST build my credit so im not automatically turned down for other cards... and get the points on yarn and stuff there...
there are patterns all over the internet for different cat toys. i'm sure you could knit some of those and sell them at craft shows. and don't you and laura sew little critters and stuff? you could probably sell those, too!

oooh, i should go there and get some needles. i've been working with 4.5s and 6s. they don't really add variation to my projects, lol.

that's true! you should do that. i read on a garbage can ad (lol) that you can convert points into store credit as well. so you buy yarn, get points, buy more yarn with points, probably get points with that purchase but im not sure, and so on. do it!!

i'm not really great with patterns though which is why i fell in love with that slipper pattern. i've never seen something easier. but i'll search craftster for more super easy cat friendly things.

lolol, i forgot about our critter making! now that i have nothing to do with my life other than get a job between now and summer, i should just mass produce potential craft show stuff :)

do it! start now, if you can, and if you can get enough stock, you would be more than welcome at my upcomming craft show.
i should really look into the whole store credit card... and see if my mom gets anything for refering me. she would probably give it to me...

ooh, yay! i'll pump out a thousand of these slippers. (so i started this one at 4am and i'm still doing it. perhaps i need to focus better..)

you really should! there's really no downside to it unless you overcharge and go into debt, of course..but that won't happen :)

but if i can only use it at zellers, i will have a hard time maxing it out... especially if i only buy yarn.
i will probably end up buying stuff for the humane society there.
and some clothes.
but thats about it...
for the slippers, i can look through the yarn i have to see what would make nice ones.
you should come to my house one day and look at my yarn. haha

if we take the bus, it wont be as bad.
the place on rivard has a bus stop right near it.
zellers is at both malls.
michaels has a stop almost right out front.
