Season Finale Post (spoilers abound)
Just my thoughts (read: incoherent thoughts) on several of my fave show season finales:
1.Ugly Betty (from last week) - Just when I thought it couldn't get more ridiculous, it did (though from what I've heard it's stil 1000000000 times more normal than the telenova Ugly Betty). Doesn't stop me from loving it. But now on to my INTENSE!!1!1! shows:
2. Heroes - FVNKAEJ45`I1F907!!!!!!! Ahhhh! I can't believe the hot brothers are (probably) dead! Noooooo, Peter! You were the hottest!! Nathan, not so much...but still! o->.<-o And poor Hiro, you can make it back, yes you can, with the powers of friendship, love, and community! And whaaaaa, same symbol as on Nikki's back on Japanese flags? GASP! It was just....amazing....but I digress.
3. Lost (JUST finished) - NOOOO! Not Charlie! I know characters die left and right, but Charlie?! I LOVED Charlie! And he didn't have to die, other than because Desmond said so, right?! AUGH! And...how is Locke alive, again, and why is he being a little bitch about it?!
I really feel like Ben is probably right about Naomi, it seems like a sinister kind of twist they would have in this show (plus there's, what, 2 more seasons?)....but then again, they were rescued, in the future-flashback-flashforward, whatever (which disappointed me, I don't want to see them back in normal-place!). I just....don't know -_-
Well, that's it so far. I'm surprisingly calm about them...normally I freak out more, just ask my roommate.
P.S. Everyone, you HAVE to check out http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/thegoldencompass.html, it's a trailer for the movie "The Golden Compass", the first of the trilogy "His Dark Materials", and it looks positively AMAZING.
