I also wanted to say I read your original work yesterday and was really impressed! The style was excellent, as I'd expect from a professional writer, capturing and exciting. Your characters came to life on the page and left me wanting more! Will you be getting this published? You have to be very careful about first publication rights, because posting stuff online does count as a first publication (how unfair?) although if it's locked I suppose there's no problem. How many chapters have you written for this? So good!

A lot of publishers want to be sure that they are teh FIRST to publish something. Posting it on the internet takes away that priviledge. That said, I think friends locking is good enough as I don't see how they could know! I think you should keep at this piece it's so promising!
