Reality hits and you run

So things have been tense, a continuing puzzle, and a frustrated oddessy for a friendship. When offered safe harbor, does a ship not enter? Not this one, it flees and runs into the raging storm, near the rocks. Determined to fly against reason and tempt fate, for what? To be right, to prove something, to make one notice, or in hopes of being dashed into the rocks? What then can be done for the ship, with sails hoisted high ,tossed about in the churning waters? Offer prayers, burn offerings, plead for safe passage, or turn away? What wouldn't thou have of me, a mere mortal? I am flesh, blood, and bone. Can I change the way of men? No. Can I turn their hearts home? Nay. I can only watch as the ship is dashed about, its occupant battered by the waves, and hope that they can ride the storm through to the other side.

I had many hopes for people, and as of late I fear they are naught. What can be done when they refuse any aid? I'm never quite sure why people do the things that they do to each other and theirselves. I hope that some find that inner peace that eludes them, that others can over come the heartaches and setbacks, and that all know they are loved.

I've been reading Holly's blog, and I've been worried about her. I may message her for her cell number. I miss her, and would like to see her. I know she's been stressed and down about things concerning school and work. I know Sam stopped to see her last weekend and checked in on her.
