Hello everyone, I'm finally back from Korea and camp and all. I'd love to upload the pictures here but it's really too much of a hassle, so if you really wanna see them, check out my fb. I'll upload them, unless fb refuses to let me do so, which happens quite frequently.
Anyway, this three-weeks-long break (or rather, it feels like an escape) from my normal life here was refreshing. It helped me straighten out my thinking and it made me feel a little better. I guess I've learnt how to just leave things as they are and let whatever happens, happen. I guess certain things are beyond my control and I'm just leaving it all in the hands of the big man upstairs.
Korea was a blast. The only disappointment is that we didn't have time to explore much of the city. However, apart from that, I felt that the experience was amazing. The whole competition atmosphere was simply electrifying. There were shouts of joy, and tears of disappointment. You could see the intent concentration in the eyes of the players and you could hear the loud cries of the coaches, telling their competitors to press on. It was truly an experience worth going through. Throughout this competition, I was blessed to win a bronze in the event I participated in and I'm thankful for it. Now, it's time to start training for 2012. That's if the world hasn't already ended by then.
ASoc Camp was fun too! It was the most chill camp ever. Got to make a whole lot of new friends. The past four days spent with them were awesome. To think I almost didn't wanna attend this camp. Thank God I did. Ascendo was a great start to my university life.
It's time now to learn to shift my focus to things that really matter, because there're just too many things that really matters. I pray that things will only get better from here.
