Living for the sake of others

French "Altruisme" - Altruism is an ethical doctrine that holds individuals have a moral obligation to help, serve, or benefit others, if necessary, at the sacrifice of self interest.

I realized while writing my ethics paper at 7am that this is me. Constantly in a state of sacrifice for others, in fact when was the last time I decided flat out to do something for myself. I have no idea, it seems like no matter how aware of this I am, I still tip toe around in life incredibly well.

Seattle was craziness. Finally 21 in the big city left me with some strange moments, black opals, and memories to last me a while. It's very odd seeing acquaintences I haven't encountered since three years ago, but refreshing too in a nostalgic kind of way.

I'm getting behind in school and stressing out. I won't be able to go to San Fran for a while...

I've been considering a lot of things lately...staring into the sun sort of speak. It's just all so uncertain.

Reno is on fire again. I think.
