(no subject)
There is this chick at my work that, I swear to god, smells like death. DEATH!! Its awful. Like, stinks up the ENTIRE office bad. The first few days she was there, she made an effort to look nice, but man, its all gone downhill. We're pretty laid back at work. At any given time, there are about 8 or 9 people in sweats. We don't make a fuss, so when she started slumming it, no one thought anything of it. Lately though....just wow. This takes slumming it to another level. How do you approach that ? "Excuse me, but we can't help but to notice that you smell like roadkill. Wanna think about a bath?" She's really young, just 19, so it makes me wonder if maybe hygiene has become untrendy. If so, it's not a trend I'm likely to follow. She came to my desk today to ask me about a file and I swear I barfed a little in my mouth.
Maybe I'm just being picky about wanting people to smell something a little less like hot garbage.
Other than that, work is going ok. It's picking up ( which makes me sad, given what we do and all), so we're busy. Yay for overtime, but still, it's sad to know what all of my files come from someone losing their home. It's a job though, and I'm lucky to have one right now.
