Cheese coma

Dec 01, 2007 17:00

I once learned that cheese induces strange, vivid dreams. That just happened.  The dream is not really interesting, but it was quite trippy.

I am so tired right now.  I don't even know why.  Work was busy this week.  I ran outside today.  Those could be factors.

I need more coffee. One large Iced coffee just doesn't cut it.  When I finished my coffee this morning, there was  a hair in it. I didn't care. I'm getting another coffee from the same Dunks.  I didn't pay for that one. So I'm allowed to get another. Most people would complain or be grossed out.  I didn't.

I should care more.  I don't care that I don't care.

I want more Livejournal friends.  Back in the day, I knew more people who had one or knew I had one and left comments.  If you are a friend of  a friend on my list, feel free to leave random comments or just say hi.

I am into random friendships these days.  I have a lot of people at work who seem to want to be friends and hang out with me. That is brand new to me, no one ever wants to be my friend.  I don't even know why my friends stay friends with me.  All right, I guess I'm okay.  It's odd because I think most people read me as a stuck up prick who has no time for anyone.  If there's any truth to that--which there is--it's half defense mechanism, half most people are douchebags.  So I am being less selective.  I can still weed out douchebags afterwords.  People at work are mostly awesome though.  Weird. That never happens at work.

Work party last night.  Lots of people getting drunk and dancing. Not my scene.  Just with work people.  The drinking and dancing are topnotch, just not with people that are supposed to take me seriously on Monday.  I did bust out the robot with Jillian from Admissions during "Take on me" but that was for someone else's benefit relating to a conversation we had had earlier in the evening.

Today I heard "Don't Stop me now" by Queen--well it was on a CD i made because I put it on like every CD and playlist I make no matter what.  Then I wanted to watch Shaun of the Dead. After my run, it was on.  Glorious.

I am doing a 5K in 2 weeks.  Considering it will be at the end of a festive weekend, and I never run outside in the cold--I am a little worried.

I am sick of writing.  This was a ramble.
