Those People

Before the 5 K today.

"So, we're that group of friends that gets up early and runs races, huh?"
"I know, I can't believe it.  Two years ago I hated those people so much.  I still do hate those people."
"Then we haven't become those people."
"Now we're just self-loathing."

Either way,

We met up before the race, did the damn thing, and then went our separate ways.  So we're not quite those people yet.
