Today was filled to the brim with bullshit, nonsense, and inconsiderateness.
I went to this 45-minute long spiel about some travel company because I was told I would get to choose between a laptop, camera, and iPod. Instead they did a random drawing and I won a 7-night stay for two or more 21-year-olds. I knew that there would be a catch but I thought I would be entertained by the subtle way in which they presented it. Instead I just felt lied to. Boring.
I can't wait until next semester when 8AM classes are all but a distant memory. It's just too early for my brain to process anything new, and it only makes me tired for the rest of the day and I end up sleeping in biology, or laughing at the professor, at least.
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: people are pretty inconsiderate. Sometimes they're just plain stupid. At least if they're stupid they have an excuse, but what really grinds my gears are people who just don't have a clue. They're probably competent human beings and might get good grades, but they just don't seem to acknowledge social mores. Or possess a shred of common sense.
It was a good day, though now it's time to hit the books.
