It's inescapable
So this weekend for some odd reason I decided that I needed to study so I can pull off at least a B- in chemistry. I'm actually getting this stuff reasonably well (it makes sense, unlike that pKa and bond length bullshit), so we'll see. Our second exam is the Tuesday we get back from break (what the hell?).
On a more important note, I've discovered the wonders of PvP (player vs. player) in WoW. Oh WoW, when will you return my soul to me?
But on a different note, I did social things this weekend. Wow (sadly, I had to restrain myself from using another capital "W" at the end of that word). Wedding Crashers gets a wary thumbs up, despite its horrendous lack of plot, poor acting, lack of round characters, and sappy ending. Party last night was fun, if not a little awkward.
I also worked (gasp) for the first time in at least a week. I truly think that if our boss didn't see us as mere pawns in his multi-million dollar governmental corporation, I would get fired in a heartbeat. But as things stand, we're not even worth firing.
I don't usually put stuff like this in here, but I MISS MY TERESA. Where is she?! I wish hearthstones (WoW, like you had to ask) were real so I could instantly teleport back home. Unfortunately, that would leave the problem of coming back down (hearthstones are a one-way kind of deal). Only five days to go...I hope I don't explode.
That reminds me of a story Elizabeth told me about how this guy's wife got into an accident and went into a coma. The man visited his wife at the hospital every day for twenty years, holding onto the slim hope that she would recover. One day, he couldn't take it any more and resignedly killed himself. The next day, his wife woke up.
