After seemingly nonstop flights from Istanbul to Amsterdam to Detroit to Marquette, I'm finally safe and sound in the place that, after twenty five days, I can call home.

Europe was absolutely incredible. I had no idea what to expect, and beyond the initial culture shock that Amsterdam gave me, everything felt really comfortable and relaxed while still being incredibly exciting. Here's a run-down of where we went:

Ann Arbor for Orientation
Drove to Detroit with my mom
Flew to Amsterdam with Kira and Dad
By rail:
Netherlands - Haarlem; some coastal town
Switzerland - Zurich; Interlaken; Bern
France - Paris; Nice; Cannes
Italy - Rome; Orvieto; Bagnoregio; Civita
Austria - Vienna; Salzburg
Germany - Munich; Augsburg; Garmisch-Partenkirchen; Ulm; Berlin; Leipzig; Dresden
Czech Republic - Prague; Karlovy Vary
Flew to Bucharest, Romania and on to Istanbul to meet up with Ege, her brother, and her father
Drove to Bursa, their home town
Drove back to Istanbul
Flew from Istanbul to Amsterdam to Detroit and, finally, home.

If anyone wants to hear any specifics or whatever, then comment. Otherwise, I actually kept a pen and paper journal, so I don't need to write everything here.

Actually, I'd love to actually talk about this trip, so ask me about it. I won't start talking about it randomly, because that pisses people off.
